The event will take place under the umbrella of the 12th Trade fair for member states in the OIC which will be held in Cairo from the 11th to the 16th of October, 2009. A meeting concerning Cotton will take place between sellers and buyers as well as a sectorial exhibition for equipment related to cotton in parallel with the Trade Fair. He also pointed out that this falls within the framework of fulfilling the strategy of developing co-operation between the cotton producing member states of the OIC during the period of 2007-2011
